Women's Collective

Planet Hope Asia is expanding with more collaborations and community interventions, we  have been touching more lives and assisting in livelihood development.  While the community development team builds rapport and establishes connections with the members of the community the empowerment team will form women groups, identify their needs, start initiatives based on these needs and conduct empowerment workshops and trainings. We will also stimulate women to join our vocational courses to get a job and be more independent.   In the organisation most of our programs and events how directed towards women, our courses be it vocational training like tailoring and beautician and educational course first preference is given to girls. In our awareness programs such as the menstrual awareness programs in Belahalli or the Karaikal fish pickle project plan too are aimed to the livelihood development of women. Apart from this entrepreneurial development workshops will be given to our students of our vocational training course to give them the skills to become self-employed after the course completion.  By gathering the women of the community and by making them a community in itself it will add a sense of sisterhood to all, and by this they shall support each other to financial independent and empowerment.
